Stipends for Internships

Thanks to the generous donations of our alumni, the Magner Career Center is able to award close to 100 students with over $100,000 in stipends each year to fund their unpaid career experiences. We are among only 32% of colleges nationwide to offer an internship stipend program, readily available to both undergraduate and graduate students. In doing so, we aim to provide students with increased financial liberty to pursue exciting off-campus internships.

Benefits

  • Generous funding: Students may receive up to $5,000 for the fall, spring, and summer semesters.
  • Flexible eligibility requirements: We provide students from all majors with stipends for a wide-range of opportunities including student teaching, off- campus research, etc.
  • Application assistance and support: Students may be intimidated at first but are given a wide variety of resources to effectively express their interests, aspirations, and career-related goals within their applications. We guide students throughout the entire application process!
  • Opportunity to meet the donor: Recipients of the Marge Magner Award have the opportunity to meet her each year and hear inspirational words from her and the Brooklyn College president.
